Georeferencing Pipeline, Smithsonian NMNH
As a spatial data scientist at the National Museum of Natural History, I'm building a georeferencing pipeline for the museum's collections items — connecting historical and contemporary specimen and object records to precise geographic locations so they can be analyzed and mapped at scale.

Semantic Ontology for Collections Knowledge
My final project for SFPC's Indigenous Cartographies course: a semantic ontological framework for representing contextual knowledge attached to anthropological (and other) collections items — an attempt to formally structure the kind of situated, relational knowledge that traditional cataloging systems tend to flatten. I also supported a fellow student's project during the course.

A tutorial series on reproducible spatial workflows in R, covering data sources and APIs (IPUMS, Natural Earth, OpenStreetMap, Stadia/Stamen Maps), spatial data cleaning, and analysis and mapping methods. Built during a postdoc at ISRDI, University of Minnesota.
